There were nine gas stations in cities across Middlesex County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.63 per gallon in the week ending Dec. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Middlesex County was $2.84 per gallon.
Of the 262 reported gas stations in cities within Middlesex County, 171 offer regular gas.
The average reported price of regular gas in New Jersey was $2.88, compared to $2.89 the week before.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
