Non-resident students were charged 108.8% more than in-state students in 2022-23, paying $33,963. This represents a 2.9% increase from the $33,005 tuition fee in the 2021-22 academic year.
Approximately 85% of the undergraduate student body at Rutgers University-New Brunswick are New Jersey residents. Students from other states make up about 8%, while international students account for 6%.
Data indicates that 71% of full-time undergraduates who began studies at Rutgers University-New Brunswick in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid.
