Rep. Frank Pallone, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, addressed several national issues in a series of posts on social media between March 12 and March 13, 2026.
On March 12, Pallone commented on an incident in Michigan: “I’m deeply saddened to hear the news of an attack on a synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan. While we are still awaiting further details from law enforcement, this much is clear—antisemitism and violent attacks on houses of worship are totally unacceptable in America.”
Later that day, he turned his attention to infrastructure concerns affecting his home state. In a post dated March 12, Pallone wrote: “New Jersey can’t afford these cruel games Trump is trying to play with our infrastructure—we need a secure federal funding pipeline for the Gateway Tunnel so these contracts can move forward and workers can keep their jobs. MILLIONS of livelihoods are at stake.”
On March 13, Pallone criticized former President Donald Trump over economic policy: “Cry me a river. Maybe Trump should have thought twice before scamming MILLIONS of Americans with illegal tariffs. Families—not his corporate billionaire donors—deserve their money back.”
Pallone has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 6th District since succeeding James J. Howard in 1988 and previously held office in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and continues to reside there at age 71. Pallone holds degrees from Middlebury College and Rutgers University-Camden.
