Rep. Frank Pallone, U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, recently addressed several issues on his Twitter account, ranging from federal law enforcement actions to local development concerns and tax policy.

On February 25, 2026, Pallone commented on the use of state property by federal agents in New Jersey. He quoted another official and stated: “.@GovSherrillNJ said what she said: masked federal agents can’t use State property to disappear our neighbors. The Trump Administration is trying to unleash chaos and unravel the policies keeping New Jerseyans safe. NJ always fights back—we’ll see you in court, Don.”

The following day, February 26, he posted a short statement criticizing potential tax increases: “MORE taxes! Just what the American people asked for.”

Later that same day, Pallone expressed support for legislation restricting warehouse development near residential communities in Roxbury. He wrote: “Roxbury deserved better than to have one of these warehouses pop up in its residents’ backyards, against their will. No community should have to contend with that. I’m glad to join @RepChrisPappas’s bill restricting this push, and I’ll continue to fight against treating people”

Pallone has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 6th District since succeeding James J. Howard in 1988 and previously held office in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch in 1951 and currently residing there at age 71, Pallone holds degrees from Middlebury College (BA) and Rutgers University-Camden (JD).
