Rep. Frank Pallone, a longtime U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing issues ranging from gas prices to antisemitism and reflections on congressional colleagues.
The following day, May 20, 2026, he addressed concerns about rising antisemitism in political discourse: “A congressional candidate is talking about putting Jews in internment camps and Republicans are quietly boosting her through a shadowy PAC. This is gutter-level conspiracy politics. Every American should be disturbed by how overt and commonplace antisemitism has become. I https://t.co/9ZQGAUxO4S”.
Later that same day, Pallone reflected on his time serving with Barney Frank: “I was fortunate to serve alongside Barney Frank. He took on Wall Street, took on bigotry, and never pretended to be anything other than exactly who he was. Born in Bayonne, he had a Jersey instinct for spotting nonsense and cutting right through it. Congress is better because”.
Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th District since 1988 after previously serving in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. He succeeded James J. Howard as the district’s representative and currently resides in Long Branch, New Jersey where he was born in 1951 at age 71. Pallone graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in 1973 and earned his JD from Rutgers University-Camden in 1978.
