Rep. Frank Pallone, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, has recently posted a series of critical statements on his Twitter account addressing actions by House Republican leadership and former President Donald Trump.
Later that day, he commented on legal proceedings involving former President Trump, “Trump doesn’t understand that his tax suit had no substance. It was only a ploy to steal over $1 BILLION of taxpayer money for insurrectionist criminals. The idea that our president is only contemplating ways to financially benefit himself is completely shameful. https://t.co/yZQhU232Jw”.
On May 24, Pallone addressed immigration policy changes under Trump, “If you’ve played by the rules and lawfully waited for years just for a chance at the American dream, Trump now wants you to leave the country, risk your job, and uproot your family to get a green card. By closing more and more legal pathways to citizenship, Trump keeps betraying https://t.co/pslIYxFO4l”.
Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th District in Congress since succeeding James J. Howard in 1988 and previously served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951, Pallone continues to reside there at age 71. He holds degrees from Middlebury College (BA) and Rutgers University-Camden (JD).
