Rep. Frank Pallone, U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, posted a series of statements on his Twitter account on October 15, 2025, addressing federal spending and health care policy.

In a tweet at 16:14 UTC, Pallone criticized the lack of transparency regarding defense spending under the Trump administration, stating, “Trillions of your tax dollars are being paid to Trump’s Department of War, but now no press will be able to ask questions about where a cent of your money is going? Outrageous.”

Later, at 17:30 UTC, Pallone drew a contrast between the two major political parties, writing, “Spot the difference: Democrats are UNITED in fighting to save your health care. Republicans are nowhere to be found.”

At 20:13 UTC, he further criticized Republican health care policies, specifically referencing telehealth services for seniors: “The Republicans’ war on your health care continues: Trump just killed telehealth for seniors.”

Pallone, who succeeded James J. Howard in Congress and previously served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988, has long focused on health care issues during his tenure. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951, Pallone is a graduate of Middlebury College and Rutgers University-Camden.
