Rep. Frank Pallone, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, used his social media account on February 26, 2026, to comment on current political developments and the state of democracy in the United States.
In one post at 20:59 UTC, Pallone wrote: “Next year https://t.co/V8UfCtN7Fi”.
Later that evening, at 21:19 UTC, he addressed immigration policy under the Trump administration by stating: “If you’re an immigrant in Trump’s America, DHS can take your family, take your legal rights, and now they’ll take your ability to make transactions, too. Who can live like that?
Maximum cruelty is the name of the game at Trump and Noem’s DHS.

At 22:16 UTC on the same day, Pallone commented on allegations of voter fraud and their impact on democratic processes: “The 2020 Election is an open-and-shut case: the voter fraud Trump and his cronies allege simply doesn’t exist.
Using it as an excuse to rig the midterms is desperate and craven, and the American people see right through it. We will not let our democracy crumble over Trump’s https://t.co/lhdkWggJI2“.
