U.S. Representative Frank Pallone, who serves New Jersey’s 6th district, used his social media platform to comment on several political issues between October 14 and October 15, 2025.

On October 14, Pallone questioned former President Donald Trump’s decision to allow Qatar’s military presence in the United States. In his post, Pallone wrote, “Why is Trump allowing Qatar’s military on our soil? Here are three reasons and none of them are our national security interests:

– He got a flying palace from them FOR FREE
– He’s building a golf course there
– His underlings and relatives worked for them” (October 14, 2025).

Later that day, Pallone addressed a congressional dispute involving Adelita Grijalva, stating, “Joined my colleagues in marching to Speaker Johnson’s office to demand that Adelita Grijalva be SWORN IN.

Blocking her swearing in is a direct attempt to prevent a release of the Epstein Files and to deny the people of Arizona’s 7th Congressional District a voice in Congress.” (October 14, 2025).

On October 15, Pallone criticized Republican lawmakers for their absence from Washington, D.C., writing, “It’s DAY 15 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.

Democrats are in Washington to fight for your health care. Where are Republicans? On an EXTENDED VACATION.” (October 15, 2025).

Frank Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th district in Congress since 1988, following service in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, in 1951, Pallone holds degrees from Middlebury College and Rutgers University-Camden.
