A section of JFK Drive in Milltown has been closed to all traffic following a water main break, according to the Milltown Police Department. The closure affects the stretch between Carina Drive and Henry Street.
Public Works crews are currently on site working to repair the damage. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes, follow posted detours, and use caution near the affected area.
Chief C. Johnson expressed appreciation for residents’ cooperation during the repairs.
A significant snowstorm is expected to impact Milltown beginning late Saturday night and continuing through Sunday, with the possibility of lasting into Monday morning.
Milltown Borough Offices will be closed on January 26 due to ongoing snow removal and cleanup operations.
All streets in Milltown have been cleared of vehicles as local crews and police work to maintain safe road conditions during the ongoing winter storm, according to an update from the Milltown Office of Emergency Management (OEM).
