The Milltown Borough Council meeting scheduled for February 23, 2026, will now take place online via Zoom rather than in person. The change comes after a State of Emergency was declared due to expected dangerous weather conditions.

The meeting was originally set to be held at the Borough Council Chambers on Washington Avenue at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Despite the shift to an online format, official action is still planned during the session.

According to Gretchen McCarthy, RMC Milltown Borough Clerk, “PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Milltown Borough Council meeting of February 23, 2026, originally scheduled to be held in person at the Borough Council Chambers, 39 Washington Avenue, Milltown, New Jersey 08850 at 7:00pm prevailing time, will now be held online, via Zoom, due to the declared State of Emergency caused by expected dangerous weather.”

Residents can view the amended agenda on the Borough website. The council has provided full instructions for joining the meeting through Zoom. The session begins at 7:00 p.m., and access details are available on both the borough’s site and in public notices.

Further information about joining instructions and mobile access options is also listed in official communications from borough officials.
