On Friday, Feb. 14, former Monroe Township High School standout Jacob Veczko’s current college team, the Dayton Flyers, lost 13-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Monmouth Hawks.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their second matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Flyers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 9:30 a.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Western Michigan Broncos.
