On Saturday, March 29, former Spotswood High School standout Emerson Adkins’ current college team, the Eastern Mennonite Royals, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Lynchburg Hornets.
The game took place at Aubrey R. Moon Jr. Field. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.
The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Vickie Van Kleeck Softball Complex against Ferrum Panthers.
