On Tuesday, April 8, former Spotswood High School standout Emerson Adkins’ current college team, the Eastern Mennonite Royals, lost 12-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.
The game took place at Gehman Field. This was their second matchup against the Marlins this season.
The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Gehman Field against Guilford Quakers.
