Frank Pallone, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 6th district, has taken to social media to voice concerns over two separate controversies involving former Trump administration officials. Representative Pallone, serving in Congress since 1988, used his platform to address these issues on March 26 and 27, 2025.

On March 26, Pallone addressed alleged improper conduct by a former Defense Secretary under the Trump administration. “Where’s the outrage from Republicans who claim to support our troops?”, Pallone questioned, referencing an incident where “Trump’s Defense Secretary leaked live war plans—strike times, targets, even IDs—over an unsecured Signal chat.” He criticized the use of Signal, stating, “Signal isn’t a secure or authorized channel” and condemned the action as a “reckless breach” that endangers American pilots.

On the same day, Pallone shared a link without accompanying commentary, providing further content for consideration against the backdrop of his earlier statement.

On March 27, Pallone expressed his disapproval regarding comments reportedly made by former President Trump about individuals involved in the January 6 Capitol riots. “January 6 criminals literally tried to hang Mike Pence and assaulted police,” he wrote, criticizing Trump’s purported plans to “send them checks in the mail.” Pallone characterized these actions as “rewarding political violence” and described them as “sick.”

Rep. Frank Pallone’s social media remarks underscore continuing political tensions and his critical stance on actions from past administration officials and allies.
