Rep. Frank Pallone, who represents New Jersey’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on diplomatic and domestic issues through his social media posts.
On October 8, 2025, Pallone highlighted a meeting with Armenia’s new ambassador to the United States: “Met with @ArmAmbUS Narek Mkrtchyan, newly appointed Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, to discuss strengthening US-Armenia relations and growing cooperation in sectors like energy and tech. I look forward to working together during his tenure.”
Addressing international conflict, Pallone commented on developments in Gaza the following day. On October 9, 2025, he wrote: “It is my sincere hope that the ceasefire in Gaza, which so far, is holding, will lead to a permanent peace that includes Israel removing its troops and Hamas laying down its arms. Most important is the release of the hostages. My heart is with the families who have fought,”
In another post on October 9, 2025, Pallone criticized Republican lawmakers for their role in a government shutdown: “It’s DAY 9 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Americans are feeling the sting of Republicans shutting the government down so they could jam through the biggest price hikes to your health insurance in recent history. All those missed pay checks and hours of waiting are on them.”
Pallone has served New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988 after replacing James J. Howard and previously held a seat in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951, Pallone graduated from Middlebury College and earned his law degree from Rutgers University-Camden.
