Rep. Frank Pallone, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 6th district, recently shared his views on several pressing issues via social media. Pallone has been an active political figure since 1988 and has consistently voiced his opinions on matters concerning public safety, constitutional rights, and climate change.

On January 22, 2025, Rep. Pallone expressed his commitment to upholding the nation’s chemical safety law named after the late New Jersey Senator Lautenberg. He emphasized that he is working to ensure the law aligns with its namesake’s dedication to protecting Americans from hazardous chemicals. “Our nation’s updated chemical safety law is named after the late New Jersey Senator Lautenberg.”

Later that day, Pallone commented on a legal action involving New Jersey and other states defending birthright citizenship against changes proposed by former President Trump. He stated that this right has been fundamental in America for generations and should remain unchanged. “Glad to see New Jersey among 22 states suing to protect birthright citizenship.”

On January 23, 2025, Rep. Pallone criticized Trump’s directive to withhold funds intended for mitigating climate disasters amidst frequent billion-dollar events caused by climate change. He questioned the adequacy of Trump’s “clarification” regarding these actions and accused him of neglecting American citizens’ needs in times of crisis.“Is this ‘clarification’ supposed to be comforting?”
