Rep. Frank Pallone, who represents New Jersey’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently commented on economic challenges and announced federal funding for local infrastructure repairs.
On February 8, 2026, Pallone criticized former President Trump and Congressional Republicans, stating: “Trump and Congressional Republicans have created a cost of living crisis, making everything from rent to groceries on Super Bowl Sunday more unaffordable than ever.” That same day, he encouraged constituents to seek further information about local impacts by sharing a resource: “Read more about how our congressional district is impacted from @HouseBudgetDems: https://t.co/xeSt8kwViV”
The following day, on February 9, 2026, Pallone shared an update regarding federal investment in community infrastructure. He wrote: “Great news! I secured $850,000 in federal funding to repair and replace the retaining wall along Upper Prospect Road in Atlantic Highlands. This is a key road providing access to an important residential community, and it’s essential these repairs are made before the retaining”
Pallone has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 6th District since 1988 after replacing James J. Howard ([source](https://bioguide.congress.gov/search/bio/P000034)).
