The following day, on April 4, 2025, Pallone expressed gratitude to attendees of his town hall meeting in Metuchen, emphasizing the personal impact of policy decisions by the previous administration. In his tweet, he stated, “Thank you to everyone who came out to my town hall in Metuchen last night! New Jerseyans know what’s at stake: Trump’s cuts to health care, education, and Social Security aren’t politics, they’re personal. When you speak up, we win.
