Rep. Frank Pallone, who has represented New Jersey’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress since 1988, posted a series of tweets on November 3, 2025, addressing issues related to healthcare and food security in his home state.
In one tweet posted at 15:37 UTC, Pallone highlighted the recognition of a local hospital: “Monmouth Medical Center hospital in Long Branch is once again ranked among the best hospitals IN THE STATE: and that’s because it provides high quality hospital care where Long Branch residents are. RWJBarnabas and the Murphy Administration are trying to strip working”.
Later that day, at 19:21 UTC, Pallone commented on federal policy decisions under the Trump administration: “Oh look. The Trump Admin is realizing it isn’t a good idea to end programs that save Americans money. Flame-throwing and tough talk about tearing down programs might be fun on the internet, but back in reality, those ideas have real world consequences. And families can’t”.
Addressing concerns over food insecurity in New Jersey, Pallone tweeted at 20:26 UTC: “It shouldn’t be a partisan issue to prevent New Jerseyans from facing dangerous food insecurity. My New Jersey Democratic colleagues and I demanded our Republican colleagues get BACK TO WORK to save lives and restore food aid.”
Pallone was born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and continues to reside there. He began his political career in the New Jersey Senate before being elected to Congress in 1988, succeeding James J. Howard. Pallone holds a BA from Middlebury College (1973) and a JD from Rutgers University-Camden (1978).
