Rep. Frank Pallone, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, posted several updates on social media regarding recent political and international events.
On October 5, 2025, Pallone wrote: “Spoke at a service calling for the return of the hostages and honoring those who perished on the second anniversary of October 7th, 2023 at the JCC Jersey Shore in Deal.”
The following day, October 6, he commented on congressional activity: “It’s DAY SIX of the Republican Retreat. Republicans shut the government down and the House Republican Speaker has canceled votes this week. He doesn’t even want to come to the table to negotiate with us on how to lower the cost of your health care.”
Later that same day, Pallone addressed developments in Azerbaijan: “First, Aliyev went after democracy activist Gubad Ibadoghlu for advocating free speech and documenting his corruption. Now, court dates have been set for several more anti-corruption and human rights activists: Bashir Suleymanli, Nargiz Mukhtarova, and Galib Bayramov—Gubad”
Frank Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th District in Congress since succeeding James J. Howard in 1988. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951, Pallone is currently a resident there. He holds a BA from Middlebury College (1973) and a JD from Rutgers University-Camden (1978).
