Rep. Frank Pallone, U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, posted a series of statements on social media addressing housing affordability, an incident involving ICE, and local healthcare legislation.
On January 9, 2026, Pallone wrote: “Fewer and fewer Americans can afford a home, and meanwhile electricity bills are up 13% nationwide since Trump took office. Later the same day, he commented on an incident involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), stating: “Her last words were “I’m not mad at you” and then they shot her in the face. Revolting. ICE cannot be allowed to sweep this under the rug. https://t.co/AGjjlVKw4b”.
On January 10, 2026, Pallone highlighted his efforts to maintain hospital services in Long Branch: “ICYMI: I’m working with NJ state leaders to move forward legislation that keeps acute-care inpatient hospital services at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch! Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th District in Congress since succeeding James J. Howard in 1988 and previously served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch in 1951, he continues to reside there. He holds a BA from Middlebury College (1973) and a JD from Rutgers University-Camden (1978).
