Rep. Frank Pallone, U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, used his social media platform this week to share updates on both legislative activities and local health concerns.
On April 17, 2026, Pallone posted an invitation for constituents to tune in for a recap of the week’s events: “Tune in this week for Frank’s Five Flags! It was an action-packed week in Washington—and my interns are going to break it down for you.”
Later that day, he encouraged followers to join him for a regular briefing: “Join me now for my weekly update!” (April 17, 2026).
In another post on April 17, Pallone addressed public health concerns in Keyport: “I am demanding an urgent state and federal investigation into a suspected cancer cluster in Keyport, where more than 40 cases, including 28 on one street, have been identified near a toxic landfill that was never properly closed. The air, soil, and water must be tested, cancer”.
Pallone has served as the representative of New Jersey’s 6th District since replacing James J. Howard in Congress in 1988. Prior to his tenure in the House of Representatives, he served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and currently residing there at age 71, Pallone holds degrees from Middlebury College and Rutgers University-Camden.
