Rep. Frank Pallone, who represents New Jersey’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on November 17, 2025, addressing federal and local issues, including criticism of FEMA leadership and concerns over public access to a state hearing.
In a post made at 19:08 UTC, Pallone commented on the departure of an individual named Dave with the statement: “Good riddance, Dave! See you never!”
Shortly after, at 19:08 UTC, he addressed FEMA’s Acting Administrator’s resignation: “FEMA’s Acting Administrator just put in his two weeks after I called on him to resign for his disastrous running of FEMA and letting hundreds of Americans DROWN on his watch. @Sec_Noem—you taking notes?”
Later that evening at 19:59 UTC, Pallone raised concerns about community participation in a recent state hearing regarding Monmouth Medical Center’s closure: “Hundreds of Long Branch residents were shut out of last week’s state hearing on the closure of Monmouth Medical Center and left standing outside in the cold. I’m demanding a second in-person hearing in Long Branch, after work hours, so everyone can be heard—not just RWJBarnabas”
Frank Pallone has served as the representative for New Jersey’s 6th District since 1988, succeeding James J. Howard. Before joining Congress, he was a member of the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch in 1951 and currently residing there, Pallone is also an alumnus of Middlebury College and Rutgers University-Camden.
