Rep. Frank Pallone, U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, used his Twitter account on November 15, 2025, to comment on rising costs and government accountability.

In a post at 16:15 UTC, Pallone stated, “People across the country are paying more than $700 more this year on essentials than they were last year, and New Jerseyans are paying more than the average American.

Trump is trying to deflect the blame. But his party controls the entire government—these are HIS policies.”

Later that day at 17:50 UTC, he questioned trade policy decisions with a brief post: “Who levied the tariffs in the first place?”

At 19:36 UTC, Pallone commented on document transparency issues by posting: “There you have it, folks—he’s in the files.

Release them!”

Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th District in Congress since succeeding James J. Howard in 1988 and previously served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and continues to reside there. Pallone earned a BA from Middlebury College in 1973 and a JD from Rutgers University-Camden in 1978.
