On March 3, 2025, Rep. Pallone highlighted concerns over the state of the economy: “Consumer spending just saw its biggest drop in 4 years. Jobless claims are rising, the S&P 500 is falling, and Trump’s tariffs are driving up prices. These reckless policies are pushing us toward recession.”
Later that day, he shared details of a meeting with fire fighters and first responders: “Great meeting with @PFANJ_IAFF today to discuss the issues facing our brave fire fighters and first responders. I’ll always fight to ensure they have the equipment needed to safely serve our communities, and that we’ve got their backs if they are injured in the line of duty.”
On March 4, 2025, Rep. Pallone commented on alleged financial mismanagement involving Elon Musk’s team: “Musk’s ‘wall of receipts’ was supposed to prove his team was slashing waste, but it turned out to be a sloppy mess of fake savings, double counted contracts, and numbers pulled from thin air. When reporters exposed the fraud, they deleted $4 billion in inflated claims.”
