Rep. Frank Pallone, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, used his social media platform on October 10, 2025, to criticize Republican lawmakers for their absence from Washington and their stance on health care negotiations.
In a post at 13:13 UTC, Pallone wrote, “It’s DAY 10 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. Instead of coming back to Washington to save your health care, Republicans are IN HIDING. They’re refusing to talk to Democrats to form an agreement that would lower your costs.”
Later that day at 13:57 UTC, Pallone invited followers to engage with him directly through his regular communication channel: “Join me now for my weekly update!”
At 16:45 UTC the same day, Pallone referenced a caller on C-SPAN and expressed disappointment in House Speaker Johnson’s actions: “Just like this @cspan caller, I’m disappointed, too. Not only is Johnson refusing to make a deal to save health care—he’s trying to stall a release of the Epstein Files. Republicans are the party of NO transparency and RAISING COSTS.”
Frank Pallone has served in Congress for over three decades after previously serving in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 until his election to Congress in 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and currently residing there, Pallone holds degrees from Middlebury College and Rutgers University-Camden.
