Rep. Frank Pallone, a longtime member of Congress representing New Jersey’s 6th district, posted a series of statements on social media addressing recent developments in health care legislation and congressional leadership.
On November 12, 2025, Pallone criticized House Republicans’ actions regarding health care coverage. He wrote, “Republicans had one last chance to keep millions of people from being uninsured and they blew it. Look at them saying no to saving your health care—over and over again. The suffering that comes next is on them.”
Later the same day, he reaffirmed Democratic opposition to the Republican proposal: “House Democrats are united. We’re not letting Republicans jam their harmful deal that STEALS YOUR HEALTH CARE through the people’s House—we’ll keep fighting.”
On November 13, Pallone commented on Adelita Grijalva’s swearing-in following what he described as weeks of obstruction by Speaker Johnson. He stated, “It’s official: Adelita Grijalva is sworn in, after more than seven weeks of Speaker Johnson’s obstruction. It’s a win for democracy and accountability. I’m excited to work with her and deliver accountability for the American people with her vote on the Epstein discharge.”
Frank Pallone has served in Congress since 1988 after succeeding James J. Howard and previously held office in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951, Pallone continues to reside there at age 71. He holds degrees from Middlebury College (BA) and Rutgers University-Camden (JD).
