Rep. Frank Pallone, a longtime member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 6th district, used his social media platform on April 29, 2026, to criticize Republican leadership in Washington and express concerns over energy costs and election integrity.
In one post dated April 29, 2026, Pallone stated: “Commute to work? You’re paying MILLIONS more at the pump for Trump’s reckless war.”
In a subsequent message on April 29, Pallone commented on election issues: “Once again, Republicans prove that they cannot win fairly so they try to cheat our elections. This is another in a string of decades-long efforts by rightwing ideologues to dilute minority voting power and rollback one of the country’s core civil rights protections enshrined in”
Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988 after replacing James J. Howard and previously served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and continues to reside there. Pallone holds degrees from Middlebury College (BA) and Rutgers University-Camden (JD).
