Rep. Frank Pallone, who has represented New Jersey’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress since 1988, posted a series of statements on his social media account on February 11, 2026, addressing voting rights, pharmaceutical pricing, and questions about former President Donald Trump’s associates.
In his first post at 15:18 UTC, Pallone criticized the proposed SAVE Act, stating: “Millions of married people would face an uphill battle to vote if Trump and @HouseGOP’s SAVE Act gets pushed through Congress this week, because it requires the name on your birth certificate to match your current ID to register. Trump’s agenda is clear: he wants to”.
Later that day at 16:00 UTC, Pallone commented on Republican approaches to healthcare policy: “Republicans talk a big game but always prioritize Big Pharma’s profits at the expense of patients. If they were serious about lowering drug costs, they’d work with Democrats to negotiate Rx prices for more Americans, cap out-of-pocket costs, and stop unfair price hikes.”
At 17:24 UTC, Pallone raised concerns regarding a member of Trump’s administration and their connection to Jeffrey Epstein: “Why was Trump’s now-Commerce Secretary lunching on Epstein’s island four years AFTER Epstein pleaded guilty to state-level charges of trafficking children? Trump and his cronies went to great lengths to cover the up the Epstein Files, and as more files become public, I continue”.
Pallone has had a long tenure in public service. He succeeded James J. Howard in representing New Jersey’s 6th congressional district after serving in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 until his election to Congress in 1988. Born in Long Branch in 1951 and currently residing there, Pallone holds degrees from Middlebury College (BA) and Rutgers University-Camden (JD).
