Rep. Frank Pallone, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, posted a series of critical tweets on February 25, 2026, addressing food assistance cuts, voter suppression, and rising power bills.
In one post at 19:01 UTC, Pallone wrote, “…his cruel cuts to lifesaving food assistance…”.
Shortly after, at 19:01 UTC as well, he continued with another message: “…and his campaign of voter suppression.”
Later the same day at 19:17 UTC, Pallone added: “More smoke and mirrors from the guy who promised to cut power bills in half – right before he sent them skyrocketing 12% nationwide.  Just another toothless, empty promise – this time on data centers – based on nothing but backroom deals with Trump’s billionaire buddies.  The https://t.co/MPnZWZ53Da”
Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th District for over three decades and previously served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch in 1951 and currently residing there, Pallone graduated from Middlebury College in 1973 and earned his law degree from Rutgers University-Camden in 1978.
