Rep. Frank Pallone, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district since 1988, used his social media platform on November 16 and 17, 2025 to criticize actions by the Trump Administration and question its priorities regarding public assistance and veterans’ care.
On November 16, Pallone posted: “Refusing to fund SNAP during a shutdown, going to court to keep it that way, and now this? It’s the latest example of the Trump Administration punishing working families because they can’t afford to live in his America.”
The following day, he pressed for transparency regarding unreleased files from former President Donald Trump: “Release the files. Trump could do this TODAY. Why hasn’t he?” (November 17).
Later that same day, Pallone commented on federal spending decisions: “We spent $2 Billion so Pete Hegseth could put up new signs and order new name tags, instead of helping veterans exposed to toxic chemicals get health care. Priorities.”
Frank Pallone has been an active member of Congress for decades after succeeding James J. Howard in 1988. Before his tenure in Washington D.C., he served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951, Pallone continues to reside there at age 71. He is an alumnus of Middlebury College (BA) and Rutgers University-Camden (JD).
