Rep. Frank Pallone, who has represented New Jersey’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress since 1988, has criticized the Trump Administration over its handling of Medicare telehealth services in a series of tweets posted on October 9, 2025.
In his first post, Pallone wrote, “The Trump Administration is trying to make the health care crisis worse by manufacturing a Medicare telehealth crisis. Let me be clear: this is unnecessary and cruel to the millions of seniors who rely on telehealth to see their doctors.” (October 9, 2025)
Later that evening, he continued his criticism with another statement: “It’s time for the Administration to stop playing games with people’s health care and use its existing legal authority to ensure seniors can continue to utilize Medicare’s telehealth program and the hospital at home program.” (October 9, 2025)
Pallone also shared a link for further reading: “Read my full letter to Secretary Kennedy and Dr. Oz here https://t.co/9Tw0y4Lu4D” (October 9, 2025)
