Rep. Frank Pallone, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 6th district, recently shared his views on social media regarding various political issues. Pallone has been serving in Congress since 1988 after succeeding James J. Howard and has a history of public service that includes time in the New Jersey Senate.
On March 18, 2025, Pallone announced an upcoming virtual town hall aimed at discussing the implications of Republican Medicaid cuts on families in New Jersey. He invited constituents to join the event online: “Join me at a virtual town hall TONIGHT at 6PM to discuss the real impact of Republican Medicaid cuts on New Jersey families.”
Later that day, Pallone criticized former President Donald Trump for repealing an executive order from President Biden which mandated federal contractors pay workers a minimum wage of $15 per hour. In his tweet, he stated: “Very on-brand for Trump to repeal Biden’s executive order requiring federal contractors to pay workers at least $15 an hour.”
In another post on March 18, Pallone expressed disapproval over Trump’s actions concerning the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He commented on the administration’s treatment of EPA staff and its potential consequences: “Despicable. These @EPA staff aren’t politicians – they’re scientists who work to keep our water safe and our air clean.”
