Rep. Frank Pallone, a longtime U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 6th district, shared several updates on January 17, 2026, through his social media account.
In a post published at 14:06 UTC, Pallone shared two links without additional commentary: “https://t.co/14oRB2XWSL https://t.co/0z2gQnp5AO”.
Later that day at 16:31 UTC, he addressed concerns regarding former President Donald Trump’s actions with respect to the military and the press. Pallone wrote: “Trump is threatening military action across the globe right as he shuts serious journalists out of the Pentagon and turns anything that remains into a propaganda mouthpiece. This should scare anyone who believes in government accountability.”
At 18:08 UTC, Pallone posted about participating in a local event, stating: “Great to join Piscataway Mayor Brian Wahler and Reverend Kenneth Saunders at the Piscataway Senior Center for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Breakfast.”
Frank Pallone has represented New Jersey’s 6th District in Congress since 1988 after succeeding James J. Howard. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and currently residing there, Pallone graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in 1973 and later earned a JD from Rutgers University-Camden in 1978.
