On March 26, 2025, Pallone addressed concerns about internet safety and consumer privacy in relation to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). He stated: “Republicans claim to care about internet safety and consumers’ privacy, yet they stay silent about Trump’s unlawful attempt to fire FTC commissioners: the top cops on this beat. A gutted FTC makes us all less safe online.”
Later that day, he expressed his stance on gun control measures. Pallone tweeted: “Regulations for ghost guns are commonsense. These are lethal weapons that can be easily purchased and assembled at home. No one should have unfettered access to them. This is a big win, but we have to go further. Universal background checks for ALL guns would be a good start.”
In another post made on March 26, Pallone criticized Donald Trump Jr.’s involvement with GrabAGun, a company promoting AR-15 rifles among younger generations. He remarked: “Don Jr. just joined the board of GrabAGun—a company pushing AR-15s, the weapon used in countless school shootings, to Gen Z. This time Junior’s constant profiteering off his Dad’s name will get kids killed.”
