Rep. Frank Pallone, who represents New Jersey’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets over the weekend touching on local events and national politics.

On September 20, 2025, Pallone shared his participation at a community event: “Listened to all kinds of great music at the St. James Street Fair in Woodbridge today.”

The following day, he commented on former President Donald Trump’s economic policies with a pointed critique: “Trump’s economic policy: making Americans work from cradle to grave.” This tweet was posted on September 21, 2025.

Later that same day, Pallone addressed international relations and democracy issues involving Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄźan and former President Trump. He wrote: “Two rising authoritarians rubbing shoulders. Trump needs to hold Erdogan accountable for his dismantling of Turkish democracy, but instead, he’s sticking to what he knows best: rolling out the red carpet for yet another dictator.”

Frank Pallone has served in Congress since 1988 after replacing James J. Howard and previously held a seat in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1951 and currently residing there at age 71, Pallone is an alumnus of Middlebury College (BA) and Rutgers University-Camden (JD).
