The announcement was made through his official Twitter account with this message: “REMINDER: I’m holding a town hall TOMORROW!”
Later on the same day, Pallone expressed concerns regarding the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). He stated that the program is vital for over five million vulnerable families who rely on it to heat or cool their homes. In a critical tone, Pallone accused the Trump Administration of neglecting working families, posting, “The LIHEAP program is a lifeline for over 5 MILLION vulnerable families […] proves the Trump Admin DOES NOT CARE about working families.”
That day, Pallone also addressed tobacco regulations, specifically targeting flavored tobacco products such as “bubble gum” that he believes are intended to appeal to young people.
