On Saturday, March 8, former Spotswood High School standout Emerson Adkins’ current college team, the Eastern Mennonite Royals, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Methodist Monarchs.
The game took place at Walnut Creek Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Monarchs this season.
The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at MBU Softball Field against Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels.
