7.7% of households in Old Bridge received food stamps in 2020

Old Bridge ranked 174th in New Jersey for the percentage of households receiving food stamps in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

There were 799 Old Bridge households (7.7 percent) who received food stamps. Old Bridge's population was 27,836 in 2020.

The city with the largest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Penns Grove, which had 701 of 1,667 households receiving food stamps, 34.4 percent more than Old Bridge. In 2020 the population of Penns Grove was 4,793.

The city with the lowest percentage of households receiving food stamps in the state was Avalon, which had one of 744 households receiving food stamps, 7.6 percent less than Old Bridge. In 2020 the population of Avalon was 1,456.
