Come audition for a part in Plays-in-the-Park's Annual Indoor Children’s show of Pinkalicious The Musical! Ages 16 and up are welcome to audition.
Auditions are held at the Plays-in-the-Park Theater, located at 1 Pine Drive, Edison, NJ 08837 in Roosevelt Park. PLAYS-IN-THE-PARK is a Community Theater and all performers are volunteers. Please prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo song and be prepared to move/dance

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
PINKALICIOUS – an energetic little girl who loves the color pink and pink cupcakes (Mezzo-Soprano)
PETER (Doubles as BIRD)- secretly desires to enjoy pink just like his sister and to express himself creatively! (Tenor)
MRS. PINKERTON (Doubles as BUTTERFLY) – Pinkalicious’ organic-minded and busy mother (Alto)
MR. PINKERTON (Doubles as BEE) – Pinkalicious’ pinkaphobic father (Baritone)
DR. WINK (Doubles as ALISON and BUTTERFLY)- Pinkalicious’ female pediatrician who is very excited about diagnosing pinkititis. Must have tap ability. (Mezzo-Soprano)
ALISON – Pinkalicious’ best friend who also wants to be pink (Mezzo-Soprano)
BIRDS – love to flap wings and sing and dance and think Pinkalicious is a flower
BEES – love to buzz and sing and dance and think Pinkalicious is a flower
BUTTERFLIES – love to sing and dance and think Pinkalicious is a flower
