About 25% of people age 65 to 74 have hearing loss and that number goes up to 50% by age 75. Thanks to a long-awaited rule change by the Food and Drug Administration earlier this year, as of today adults with mild to moderate hearing loss will be able to buy over-the-counter hearing aids. Many of the big box stores and online retailers will sell these hearing aids.

We at Right at Home of Central New Jersey know that there is a lot we can do to help our loved one communicate as many of us have experienced it with our own family members. The first step is to assure your loved one that effective communication with them is very important to you and being able to hear each other well is a vital step to making that happen.

If we can help you or your family at any time, please contact us at 732-967-0900 or beth@rahcentral.com. Our motto is that we will care for your family the way we would care for our own family.
