Hey, everyone! I'm Hope I chose to major in Theatre a month before attending Middlesex College, so I was a little nervous to start at first. Once I got in the groove of things, I loved going to school. It felt like home to me, and it was somewhere I knew I could enhance my knowledge. I even met some of my best friends here!
I graduated in 2021, and although I haven’t pursued anything as of yet, I dedicate my time as a dancer to the Dance Ensemble here. As the Dance Club assistant, I make sure everyone is safe and comfortable in the dance studio. Each week, I make a lesson plan for the following week to determine who is teaching what style of dance and what music is chosen. It's been such a great experience thus far, and I'm so grateful to still be part of the dance family!
Students and young adults are pressured to have every aspect of their lives figured out when we really have our entire lives to figure out what we want. My advice would be to just enjoy every second, trust the journey, and take pictures for the memories.
