Welcome back to our ongoing Women's history month series! Where we are highlighting the origin stories of Middlesex County's most inspiring women.

Up next: County Commissioner Leslie Koppel! As Chair of the County’s Finance Committee, she has helped the County cut discretionary operating expenses, and maintain a AAA bond rating. She earned her Master’s Degree in Politics and Public Policy at the Bloustein School at Rutgers University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at Hunter College and is currently the Director of Rise - a Community Service Partnership, a non-profit community organization that provides social services and support in the East Windsor and Hightstown area.
