Rep. Frank Pallone, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 6th district, recently shared several updates via social media regarding legislative actions and funding initiatives. These posts reflect his ongoing involvement in federal legislation and infrastructure projects.

On November 16, 2024, Rep. Pallone highlighted his support for the FAFSA Deadline Act, emphasizing the need for timely access to federal student aid applications. He stated, "Prospective students cannot afford the delays we've seen over the past year & need certainty as they apply for federal student aid. That's why I voted yesterday in favor of the FAFSA Deadline Act which requires the FAFSA application to be released annually before Oct. 1st."

Later that day, Pallone discussed funding allocated to New Jersey's Department of Transportation through recent legislative measures aimed at reducing environmental impacts. He wrote on November 16, 2024: "Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, @NewJerseyDOT will receive $27 million to incorporate low-carbon materials in our transportation infrastructure. These investments will help us reduce the environmental impact of construction projects throughout NJ."

In another post dated November 17, 2024, Pallone reflected on a significant milestone achieved with President Biden's signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law three years ago. He remarked on its substantial economic impact and his role in crafting this legislation: "Three years ago, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law – a historic investment to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure and transform the U.S. economy. I helped write this legislation which has already delivered over $568 billion in funding nationwide."
