Representative Frank Pallone, who has been an active member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 6th district since 1988, expresses concerns and initiatives through a series of recent tweets.
On April 12, 2025, Pallone highlighted the benefits of fluoride in dental health. He stated "Fluoride has reduced cavities by 25% and is hailed as one of the greatest public health achievements of the 20th century. RFK Jr.—who has no medical degree or background—wants to drop its support based on debunked conspiracy theories. He’s playing politics with public health."
The following day, on April 13, 2025, Pallone addressed the issue of the federal minimum wage, emphasizing its stagnation by noting "It’s been 15 YEARS since the federal minimum wage has increased. I’m sponsoring the #RaisetheWage Act because $7.25 an hour is a national disgrace. No one working full-time in America should live in poverty. @HouseDemocrats’ bill would finally raises wages to $17 by 2030."
Later the same day, Pallone criticized policy decisions impacting food security. He stated "USDA is now halting the delivery of 150,000 lbs of food to the Fulfill Food Bank in Monmouth County. These are the real life impacts of Trump and Musk’s DOGE: less food for hungry people and more money for billionaires."
Frank Pallone, currently in his early seventies, was born in Long Branch, New Jersey. He obtained a BA from Middlebury College in 1973 and a JD from Rutgers University-Camden in 1978. Before joining Congress, he served in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988.
