On Sunday, Feb. 16, former South Brunswick High School standout Frankie Sanchez’s current college team, the Penn State Nittany Lions, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UConn Huskies.

The game took place at Parque Yldefonso Solá Morales. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Nittany Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Buddy Bolding Stadium against Longwood Lancers.
