Representative Frank Pallone of New Jersey, who has served in Congress since 1988, shared his views on Twitter concerning recent political actions and their potential impacts. Pallone, a prominent figure in U.S. Congress and a resident of Long Branch, New Jersey, expressed criticism toward moves made by Senate Republicans and the Trump administration.

On March 29, 2025, Pallone commented on a recent decision by Senate Republicans: "This is a gross giveaway to big banks. Senate Republicans just voted to overturn a rule capping overdraft fee at $5, a rule that would’ve saved Americans $5 BILLION a year. Reminder: Most overdraft fees are about $35. Republicans do not give a damn about keeping more money in".

Later that day, the Congressman addressed actions by former President Donald Trump, stating: "When Trump guts federal unions, he’s sending a message to every worker in America: You’re on your own.".

Additionally, Pallone scrutinized the current state of the economy under Trump's leadership, noting: "Trump’s economy is so bad, more Americans fear job loss now than any time since the Great Recession in 2009.".
