Rep. Frank Pallone, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 6th district, recently shared his views on several pressing issues via social media. Pallone, who has been serving in Congress since 1988 and previously served in the New Jersey Senate, expressed concerns about economic control, healthcare policies, and the opioid crisis.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Pallone raised alarms about Elon Musk's potential influence over national financial systems. He questioned the implications of allowing "unelected billionaire Elon Musk" to have control over critical aspects such as the Treasury Department’s payment system. He posed a rhetorical question: "Do you want to let the world’s richest man decide who gets a Social Security check and who doesn’t?"

Later that day, Pallone addressed healthcare workers' roles in New Jersey amid political debates over Medicaid funding. Highlighting their importance, he stated that "SEIU members are on the frontlines delivering care to New Jerseyans." He emphasized their critical voice against Republican efforts to cut Medicaid for tax breaks benefiting billionaires.

In another post on February 6, 2025, Rep. Pallone criticized Republicans for their approach to handling the opioid crisis. He accused them of neglecting significant financial misappropriations under former President Trump that affected addiction recovery efforts: "Republicans claim they’re serious about tackling fentanyl and the opioid crisis – but they buried their heads in the sand last week when Trump illegally stole billions of dollars."
