Rep. Frank Pallone, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey's 6th district, has expressed his concerns over recent political developments through a series of tweets. Serving since 1988 after replacing James J. Howard, Pallone is known for his active engagement in legislative matters and public discourse.

On March 4, 2025, Rep. Pallone criticized certain policies in a tweet stating that the current administration will claim “savings” while cutting Medicaid, implementing tariffs that increase costs, and forming alliances with foreign leaders like Putin while offering tax breaks to billionaires. "He’ll claim 'savings' while gutting Medicaid, push reckless tariffs that raise costs, and cozy up to Putin while handing out tax breaks to billionaires."

In another tweet on the same day, he highlighted that every House Republican voted to reduce Medicaid funding and alleged that former President Trump supports these cuts as part of a broader agenda favoring billionaires over working families. "Every House Republican just voted to slash Medicaid and Trump backs these cuts because his party would rather reward billionaires than protect working families."

Additionally, Rep. Pallone shared a personal story involving Lauren Zalepka during an event on March 4, 2025. He noted how her daughter relies on Medicaid for essential services and criticized Trump's plans as detrimental to families like hers who depend on such support systems. "My guest tonight, Lauren Zalepka, knows exactly what’s at stake—her daughter depends on Medicaid for essential services. Trump’s scheme would abandon families like hers."
